Terms & Conditions
a. We are a non smoking hotel.
b. Guests wishing to use the hotel car park are required to leave a key for the car at reception at all times. For this reason we recommend that you bring your spare.
c. Rooms will be made available from 2pm on the day of arrival. Luggage may be left earlier if required. Rooms must be vacated by 10.30 am on day of departure.
d. We respectfully remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract between themselves and The Wellington Hotel. Any reservation/s cancelled within 48 hours of the arrival date is liable to be charged for unless we are able to re-let the accommodation to another guest.
e. The rooms may not be occupied by more persons than stated or booked.
f. The proprietors do not accept responsibility for valuables left in rooms.
g. Comfort and cleanliness are very important to us and we ask our guests to assist us by keeping their rooms clean and tidy and avoid undue noise and behavior which may disturb others.
h. The proprietors reserve the right to cancel accommodation without refund, if in their opinion the behavior of a guest is such that the comfort and enjoyment of others is thereby inhibited.
i. If the deposit has been paid using a debit or credit card authorized account number, then any payment owing due to cancellation, curtailment or damage (damage - minimum charge of £50) will also be made on this same account number by the proprietor. The card holder will be notified of any such transaction.
j. The Hotel shall not be liable to a guest for any loss or damage to property caused by the misconduct or negligence of a guest or an Act of God, or where the guest remains in exclusive charge of the property concerned.
k. The Hotels liability for any other loss of or damage to a guests property is limited to £50 for any one article where, stolen, lost or damaged through the default, neglect or wilful act of the Hotel.
l. The Hotel shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing any of its obligations under this Agreement if the failure or delay was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control, including (without limitation) war or threat of war, civil or political action or disturbance, riot, natural disaster, fire, epidemic, bad weather, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), military activity, governmental or regulatory action, industrial dispute, act of God, failure of power or machinery, failure of or interruption in externally provided services and utilities, and all similar events outside the Hotels control.
m. Whilst all reasonable efforts have been taken by the Hotel to ensure that Bookings made under this Agreement are able to proceed, the Hotel reserves the right to relocate any Booking to another hotel of similar size and standard in the locality. The Client acknowledges that the Hotel accepts no liability for any loss or damage suffered by or caused to the Client in consequence of the relocation of the Client.
n. For the avoidance of doubt, the Hotel does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused by the Hotels negligence.
o. The Hotel is not liable for any loss or damage caused to a guest's vehicle, unless caused by the Hotel's wilful misconduct.
p. Guests will be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury they may cause at the Hotel.
q. When booking your holidays you are entering into a legally binding contract and it is recommended that you take out holiday insurance cover.
